Privacy Rights & Data Requests
This page explains how to ask Tail Echo to review, correct, delete, export, or restrict information connected to an account, order, memorial page, support request, or submitted content. Tail Echo is operated by Tailecho LLC.
Requests We Can Review
- Access to personal information associated with your account, order, or support request.
- Correction of inaccurate account, order, memorial, or contact information.
- Deletion or removal of a memorial page, public tribute, candle message, or uploaded content where you have authority to request removal.
- Export of account or memorial information where technically available.
- Memorial ownership review when there is a family, account, or authorization dispute.
- Restriction of public visibility for sensitive memorial content.
Information to Include
To help us verify and process your request, include your full name, email address, order number if available, memorial URL, pet name, the type of request, and a clear explanation of your authority to request the change. Do not submit unnecessary sensitive documents unless we specifically ask for verification.
Verification and Safety
For privacy, memorial ownership, deletion, refund, or account access requests, Tail Echo may ask for additional verification. We may decline, delay, or narrow a request when we cannot verify authority, when another person’s privacy is involved, when the request is abusive or fraudulent, or when records must be retained for legal, security, tax, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Memorial Removal and Family Disputes
Pet memorials can involve multiple family members. If there is a dispute over who controls a memorial, Tail Echo may temporarily restrict edits or visibility while reviewing the issue. We will try to act respectfully, but we cannot adjudicate every family disagreement.
