These Terms of Service explain the rules for using Tail Echo, creating or participating in memorials, submitting content, using accounts, purchasing digital products, interacting with AI-assisted services, and contacting our support channels. Tail Echo is operated by Tailecho LLC.

Your original content stays yours
You retain ownership of your original photos, stories, and files while granting Tail Echo the permissions needed to provide and maintain the requested service.
AI is an artistic interpretation
AI-assisted memorial content is creative and supportive in nature. It is not proof of an afterlife or a substitute for professional medical, veterinary, legal, psychological, financial, or emergency care.
Lasting access is subject to platform availability
References such as lasting, permanent, lifetime, or forever describe Tail Echo’s intention to maintain relevant digital memorial features, subject to these Terms, technology, security, legal requirements, and platform availability.
1. What Tail Echo provides
Tail Echo is a digital pet memorial and remembrance platform operated by Tailecho LLC. Services may include memorial pages, candle and tribute experiences, memorial participation features, digital sanctuary products, AI-assisted artwork or video, virtual memorial gifts, downloadable files, account features, support tools, and informational grief-support content.
By using Tail Echo, creating or participating in a memorial, submitting content, creating an account, placing an order, or using another Tail Echo feature, you agree to these Terms and any additional terms clearly presented for a specific product or service.
2. Emotional support, not professional care
Tail Echo supports remembrance and creative memorialization. It is not a veterinary, medical, psychological, therapy, legal, financial, spiritual, crisis, or emergency service. Information and support features on Tail Echo do not replace qualified professional advice or emergency assistance.
3. AI-assisted and artistic content
Tail Echo may use AI-assisted tools for memorial artwork, video, text, summaries, prompts, support workflows, or other creative features. Results are artistic interpretations and may vary based on source materials, instructions, technology limits, and creative direction.
AI-generated or AI-assisted content is not proof of an afterlife, resurrection, communication with a deceased pet, or a factual representation of events.
4. User content, ownership & permission
You are responsible for photos, stories, names, dates, messages, files, and other materials you submit. You confirm that you have the rights or permission needed to submit them.
You retain ownership of your original content. You grant Tail Echo a non-exclusive permission to host, process, reproduce, display, adapt, transmit, and otherwise use submitted content only as reasonably needed to provide, maintain, secure, support, or fulfill the service you requested, and as otherwise described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Memorial visibility, participation & ownership
Memorials and related participation may be public or private depending on the feature and settings available. Visitors or invited participants may be able to leave candles, messages, tributes, or other permitted contributions without receiving ownership or editing rights.
If ownership, family authority, privacy, or memorial control is disputed, Tail Echo may request verification, restrict changes or visibility, pause action, or decline to transfer control until sufficient information is available for a reasonable human review.
6. Accounts & security
You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your login credentials, and activity performed through your account. Do not share access in a way that compromises memorial ownership, privacy, billing, or security.
Notify Tail Echo promptly if you believe an account, order, memorial, or support request has been accessed or changed without authorization. Tail Echo may use reasonable verification before making sensitive account or ownership changes.
Purchases, delivery, refunds & memorial access
7. Orders, digital products & delivery
Unless a product page clearly states otherwise, paid Tail Echo products and services are digital. Delivery may occur through a memorial page, account access, email, secure link, download, or another digital method described at purchase.
Product pages control the current deliverables, price, delivery estimate, revision allowance, and product-specific limitations. Future physical products may have separate shipping, return, damage, or replacement terms.
8. Billing, cancellations, revisions & refunds
Billing, cancellations, duplicate charges, revisions, delivery or quality problems, virtual gifts, payment disputes, and approved refunds are governed by the current Billing, Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Customized digital work may begin quickly after required materials are received, so eligibility may change once order-specific production has started.
9. Virtual memorial gifts
Virtual memorial gifts are digital symbolic tributes, not physical goods unless a product listing explicitly states otherwise. They may be displayed on or associated with a memorial. Refund or correction eligibility is governed by the Billing, Cancellation & Refund Policy and applicable law.
10. Lasting, permanent, lifetime or forever language
These expressions describe Tail Echo’s intention to maintain the applicable digital memorial feature for as long as reasonably possible. They are subject to platform and provider availability, security needs, lawful removal requests, account standing, product terms, technology changes, and these Terms. They are not an unconditional guarantee that every file, message, feature, or service will remain available forever under every circumstance.
11. Prohibited uses
- Do not submit content you do not have permission to use.
- Do not impersonate another person or misrepresent memorial ownership or authority.
- Do not use Tail Echo for harassment, hate, threats, fraud, spam, malware, scraping, deceptive activity, or unlawful purposes.
- Do not attempt to bypass security, access, account, payment, or support controls.
- Do not interfere with the service, other users, memorials, or platform infrastructure.
- Do not submit emergencies through Tail Echo or present Tail Echo content as professional medical, veterinary, legal, psychological, financial, or emergency advice.
12. Content moderation & removal
Tail Echo may restrict, hide, remove, decline, or preserve access to content or features when reasonably necessary to address unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, infringing, unauthorized, unsafe, misleading, privacy-sensitive, or platform-inappropriate activity, or to comply with legal, security, privacy, ownership, or payment obligations.
13. Third-party services
Tail Echo relies on third-party services for hosting, WordPress and WooCommerce functionality, payment processing, security, email, analytics, media delivery, communications, AI-assisted features, and other infrastructure. Availability and performance may be affected by those providers. Tail Echo will make reasonable efforts to address service problems within our control but cannot guarantee the uninterrupted operation of independent third-party systems.
14. Tail Echo intellectual property
Tail Echo’s brand, site design, original copy, templates, workflows, product structures, software, and other platform materials are owned by or licensed to Tail Echo or Tailecho LLC. Unless a product page grants broader rights, delivered memorial files are for personal remembrance and permitted sharing, not resale, repackaging, impersonation, or creation of a competing service.
15. Disclaimers
Tail Echo is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted access, perfect AI output, specific emotional or healing results, preservation under every future circumstance, search ranking, third-party acceptance, or compatibility with every device, provider, or future technology.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Tail Echo and Tailecho LLC are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, lost-revenue, lost-opportunity, or similar damages arising from use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, any limitation will apply only to the extent permitted by law and, where legally permissible, may be limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
17. Responsibility for misuse & claims
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you are responsible for losses or claims caused by your unlawful use of Tail Echo, content you submit without required rights or permission, intentional misuse of the service, misrepresentation of memorial ownership, or violation of these Terms. This section does not require you to waive rights that cannot legally be waived.
18. Privacy, cookies & data requests
Tail Echo’s handling of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy. Our Cookie Policy explains cookies, analytics, advertising measurement, and related technologies. Privacy Rights & Data Requests explains how to request access, correction, deletion, export, restriction, memorial removal, or ownership review where applicable.
19. Changes to Tail Echo or these Terms
Tail Echo may update features, services, prices, product descriptions, policies, or these Terms as the platform evolves. The current version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Where required by law or appropriate for a material change, additional notice may be provided.
Continued use after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree with revised Terms, you should stop using the affected service and contact Tail Echo if you need help with an existing account, order, or memorial.
